What is laser hair removal?
Laser Hair Removal is a proven hair removal method used to treat unwanted body hair for decades and has greatly evolved since its inception into the marketplace. A few years ago, laser hair removal could be a somewhat lengthy and painful cosmetic procedure. But Aesthetics Montecito used the latest innovations in cosmetic laser technology, offering men and women a virtually painless, quick, convenient way to remove unwanted body hair, permanently.
Today, there are many options for improving the look and feel of your skin. Here at Aesthetics Montecito, we’re proud to offer a variety of treatments to help women and men of all ages retain their youthful glow.
Skin tightening is one way to help rejuvenate skin and reverse the aging effects of time and sun damage. Forma skin tightening treatment uses radiofrequency (RF) technology to stimulate the production of new collagen and improve elasticity in the treatment area, leaving your skin looking plump, fresh, and beautiful.
Microdermabrasion treatments use a minimally abrasive instrument to gently sand your skin removing the thicker, uneven outer layer. This type of skin rejuvenation is used to treat light scarring, texture issues, sun damage, and stretch marks.
Can also be a great add-on to any service.
Who is a candidate for Fractora?
Candidates are individuals who are generally in good health. If you are looking to avoid a facelift but desire younger-looking, tighter, and rejuvenated skin, Fractora is perfect for you.
Is it Painful?
Fractional Laser can cause mild discomfort during the procedure. Depending on your pain tolerance, we offer a variety of ways to reduce the pain. We always apply a topical numbing agent to the area before treatment. For those who are more sensitive to pain, we offer oral medication or nerve blocks to ease the pain.
How Long Does Fractora Take?
The actual procedure itself will only take about 30 minutes, depending on the size of the area. Providers will apply numbing cream on, approximately 10-15 minutes before the treatment. We ask patients to block one hour of their time for treatment.
How Often Does Fractora Need to be Performed?
The results are permanent. Many sessions may be required to achieve the desired results. Patients need to wait about 4-6 weeks between fractional laser treatments.
What is a Sciton BBL?
It is broadband light photo facial. In the text it is a poor quality and hard to read. In the description it is a light energy not affecting the dead upper layer of the skin but rather the light is absorbed by deeper, living layers addressing acne, pigment and stimulating collagen. This returns the skin to a healthy and youthful appearance and texture.
What is Fractora?
Commonly referred to as the “ultimate non-invasive skin renovation without surgery” by InModeMD. Fractora is a non-invasive fractional laser skin resurfacing procedure. The anti-aging procedure restores the skin, revealing a naturally younger-looking appearance. The treatment drastically reduces the appearance of scarring.
Is it Safe?
Yes! Fractora is mild and non-invasive. Our staff has extensive training. Our team evaluates your skin type and thickness and determine the proper settings for your treatment.
How Does it Work?
Fractora delivers radio-frequencies to the skin through many pins. These pins produce localized heat and small micro-lesion dots. The heat generated by the pins goes into the sub-dermal tissue promoting collagen restructuring. The micro-lesions are scattered, allowing the skin to heal more quickly. Radio-frequency energy enables the skin to heat in a controlled manner. The heat dramatically improves the appearance of the skin.
